Global Crossing to Connect Offices with VoIP Outbound in Brazil and Mexico

Under the agreement, Global Crossing will provide IP VPN services, VoIP Outbound services and managed network services in Brazil and Mexico, as well as local access services in Sao Paulo, where the company's network hub for the region is located. Headquartered in London, Michael Page specializes in the placement of candidates in permanent, contract, temporary and interim positions within client companies around the world.

Nexus Telecom of Brazil Relies on VocalTec for VoIP

vocaltec.jpgNexus Telecom has selected and deployed VocalTec’s Essentra VoIP Peering and Trunking, in partnership with HiSecur, a successful Brazilian Telecom Systems Integrator.

VocalTec was selected by Nexus Telecom following evaluation and benchmarking with several other equipment vendors. The project includes the deployment of VocalTec’s Essentra CX, Trunking solution and Essentra EX, VoIP Peering Manager. Using VocalTec’s solutions, Nexus Telecom will provide secure and seamless interconnection between disparate VoIP networks and provide high quality trunking and PSTN termination services throughout Brazil and worldwide, while reducing service costs, enhancing service flexibility and enabling the rapid addition of new services and applications. VocalTec’s solution was selected to replace and enhance the network solution previously deployed.

Most TCCs also offer free community services, such as courses on information and communication technologies, and free Internet access to public schools, libraries, and public facilities.

First VoIP-Based Retail Call Shops in Venezuela
