Partnership to Bring VoIP Solutions to Telcos in Argentina

vocaltec.jpgVocalTec and Technology Bureau announce their cooperation in providing complete VoIP solutions to the service provider market as well as Telecommunications Community Cooperatives in Argentina.

A TCC is an autonomous democratically managed association of individuals, who jointly respond to common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations. TCCs operate in remote or low-populated areas to provide telephone and Internet services to their target populations. Most TCCs also offer free community services, such as courses on information and communication technologies, and free Internet access to public schools, libraries, and public facilities.

“We are pleased to partner with VocalTec and to provide its cost effective, feature reach and reliable VoIP solutions to Telcos, carriers and TCCs across the country,” said Miguel Angel Paissanidis, Chief Technology Officer at Technology Bureau. “Offering these services is strategic to our objective of establishing ourselves as a key player in the VoIP Telecommunications market in Argentina.”

“We are excited about the opportunity of working with Technology Bureau to provide VoIP telephony services to Telcos, carriers and TCCs,” said Edu Meytal, VP Sales at VocalTec. “VocalTec has been successful in providing telephony services to underserved and remote regions across the globe and our products are designed to address the needs particular to these markets. We are happy to bring our expertise in deploying such networks to Argentina and assist in providing customers advanced IP telephony services.”
