TalkSwitch Ships 35,000th Telephone System

talkswitch_logo.gifTalkSwitch ships its 35,000th phone system. That’s more phone systems than any other company that has entered this segment since the launch of the company’s first product. With 35,000 units shipped in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and the UK, TalkSwitch leads the market, well ahead of later entrants like Digium, Allworx, Fonality and Microsoft.

“We’ve sold more systems because we understand small business better,” said Jan Scheeren, President and CEO of TalkSwitch. “No other company has focused exclusively on small business telephony as long as we have, and there’s no shortcut for the history of real-world experience and customer feedback that we’ve built since we started.”

Scheeren points to the ease of installation of TalkSwitch products as proof — TalkSwitch was the first company to bring a customer-installable phone system to the market, and today over 70 percent of its systems are installed by small businesses themselves. And unlike some new entrants, such as Response Point, TalkSwitch has never sacrificed its full feature set or industry-leading usability to facilitate ease of installation.

The TalkSwitch channel includes over 1500 resellers and distributors who prize the company’s owner-friendly approach and small-business-friendly channel marketing programs. TalkSwitch traditional PBX and hybrid IP-PBX phone systems uniquely include free lifetime support and software upgrades and boast the lowest return rate in the industry. These are all factors that landed TalkSwitch a PHONE+ Top 50 Channel Program award in October 2008, among many previous accolades.
