High-Quality VoIP services Throughout New England

BroadSoft, Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, announced that DSCI Corporation, an integrated communications solutions provider, has selected the BroadSoft VoIP application software as the platform to deliver its high-quality VoIP services. DSCI is using the BroadWorks platform to deliver hosted PBX and converged voice and data services to mid-sized enterprise customers throughout New England under the iPBX Communications Service brand.

DSCI selected the BroadWorks platform because of its flexibility in both the quantity and type of services it allows the carrier to offer its customers, creating the opportunity for innovative bundled packages and customized services. Also key to DSCI's decision was the platform's compatibility with a range of phone and customer premises equipment, enabling additional customer choices.

"The BroadSoft platform allows us considerable freedom in designing our VoIP service offerings," said Rick Girardin, vice president of engineering of DSCI. "We are particularly excited by add-on components such as the Communicator softphone and the Assistant Enterprise and Receptionist software, which provide our customers with extensive toolbar control options. And with its ongoing feature expansion, the BroadWorks framework will clearly help us continue to expand our business and markets."

"DSCI specializes in creating high-value services and an array of choices to its customers," said Michael Tessler, president and CEO of BroadSoft. "In today's competitive telecommunications environment where carriers are striving to offer creative services in attractive packages, DSCI is using its BroadWorks-based services to once again stand out from the crowd. By expanding the New England business community's access to the productivity gains, cost savings, and flexibility of VoIP, DSCI's iPBX offering is keeping the company on track for continued growth."
