VoIP Call Recording Software TeamRecord Released

Arcosoft Inc., announced the release of VONaLink TeamRecord. TeamRecord works with any VoIP phone system based on the open SIP standard, such as Asterisk or Vonage, to centrally record all phone calls for a company workgroup.

Call recording benefits a company by allowing business transactions over the phone to be verified and disputes resolved. With traditional phone systems, calls are recorded with either analog equipment or expensive, proprietary products from the phone company. With the latest VoIP systems built on open, standard protocols, calls can be recorded by monitoring network packets.

AccessLine Awarded Two U.S. Patents

AccessLine Communications, has increased its intellectual property portfolio through the addition of two new patents for its proprietary telecommunications network. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) has granted AccessLine’s applications for patents that cover a cost effective nationwide call processing system and a dynamic security method for VoIP services.

The first, Patent No. 7,068,772, entitled “Economical call processing system and method, such as for providing one-number telecommunication services,” protects one of the methods employed by AccessLine to enhance the overall reliability of its nationwide local number access network.

Crawford Lake Mining announced it has purchased 100% ownership of Jinan Yinquan Technology Co. Ltd, (‘Jinan”), a telecommunications technology company located in the Shandong Province of the People’s Republic of China, in exchange for 40,000,000 restricted shares of Crawford Lake common stock.

“This acquisition and expansion into the technology industry signifies our first effort in developing an international, high-tech business strategy for our Company,” said Li Kunwu, President and CEO of Crawford Lake. “Jinan Yinquan is a very aggressive company that now offers Voice over the Internet Protocol (“VoIP”) services to 17 cities in the Shandong Province. Skypecasting, makes it possible for users to browse and join community discussions via a new "live" window allowing for up to 100 people to talk to each other simutaniously in a live moderated voice conversation. (I wish we had something similar to this back in the day, when I played Everquest it would have been great for in game raids.)

Use Google Talk Away from Your Computer

Camrivox, a developer of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) equipment, has announced that it has added support for Google Talk to its range of Flexor IP phones and telephony adapters.

The Flexor products allow users to register a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) account and a Google Talk account simultaneously on the same VoIP device. This means that they can make or receive calls either via Google Talk or with any other SIP-compatible VoIP phone or conventional phone.

"We believe that Camrivox is the first company to add this capability, and our Flexor range is therefore the first devices that enables Google Talk to be used without a PC," said David Moorhouse, VP of Marketing at Camrivox.
