Smoothstone Awarded Hosted VoIP 'Members Choice 2009'

smoothstone.gifSmoothstone has received a 2009 "Members Choice" award from the Telecom Association. Smoothstone was recognized for its overall program excellence by Telecom Association agent and channel partner voting members.

Smoothstone is a nationwide IP communications provider that designs, integrates and services specifically tailored solutions, including VoIP, for medium size enterprises. Smoothstone received the "Members Choice 2009" award only a week after achieving Cisco Managed Services Channel Partner designation.

Founded in 1995, the Telecom Association is a professional membership organization consisting of 3,500 telecom agents, auditors, distributors, consultants, VARs and providers of telecom, data and IT products and solutions for businesses. Voting for the Members Choice 2009 Awards was open to active and independent telecom agents, auditors, consultants, VARs and other individuals who distribute or recommend telecom or data solutions directly to businesses and who have an informed opinion about which solution providers lead their industries.

"This award from such a prestigious professional organization helps solidify our position as a leading provider of hosted VoIP services," mentioned Smoothstone Chief Marketing Officer James Whitemore. "Smoothstone has gained an honorable mention in past years, but this year's recognition as one of the best in the industry is symbolic of our continued growth and success."
