PhoneFusion Receives Two Industry Awards at CTIA WIRELESS 2008

PhoneFusion_logo.jpgPhoneFusion has been awarded two industry awards as part of CTIA's third annual Emerging Technology Awards. PhoneFusion took first and second place in the Mobile Widget categories at an awards ceremony held on April 2 in Las Vegas. The wireless technologies were judged on innovation, functionality, technological importance, implementation and overall "wow" factor.

The E-Tech awards honor the best products and innovations in a number of categories representing the wireless ecosystem, including mobile consumer electronics, consumer mobile applications, enterprise solutions, network infrastructure, mobile widgets and 4G.

Nearly 300 submissions were received for this year's E-Tech Awards. A panel of 31 judges -- including notables such as BusinessWeek's Steven Wildstrom; CNET's Jessica Dolcourt; Engadget's Chris Ziegler; eWeek's Andrew Garcia, Phonescoop's Eric Zeman; and TechCrunch Network's Peter Ha -- evaluated each entry and awarded the winners.
