IGONET is Affordable and Easy-to-Use VoIP Service

Since deregulation of the Bell companies, long-distance and phone communications have become highly competitive -- and now a new method of making calls is taking over.

"Becoming an IGONET VoIP customer gets me the best values in digital phone services, and enables me to call anywhere in the world for free," said Kelley Burry, an IGONET representative. "I can't help but be excited about making calls on the Internet. This is the trend in communications, and I'm excited to be a part of it."

Anyone with a high speed Internet connection can use that connection to make and receive phone calls using a regular telephone.

"By using a technology called VoIP ( Voice over Internet Protocol ), IGONET uses your high-speed Internet connection to send all calls to and from you through the service adapter. It then routes calls over the Internet, instead of using traditional phone lines," said Burry.

Customers get unlimited calling to the United States, Canada, and over 20 other countries worldwide. VoIP service includes all the traditional calling features, like caller ID, call waiting, and many new ones as well. VoIP services also provide a local phone number, enabling anyone with a regular phone to call that number.

"You use your VoIP phone just the same as your traditional phone. The only real difference is your total cost for the month. The flat monthly fee is less than the monthly cost for a traditional phone, and there are no other costs because all calls using VoIP are free.

IGONET is also one of only two VoIP companies to achieve full compliance with 911 services. "Other VoIP companies have a problem. When one of their customers uses a VoIP phone to call 911 the emergency call does not always get routed to the right 911 dispatch center. You could get stuck talking to someone thousands of miles away from where your emergency is taking place," explained Burry.

IGONET customers do not have that problem.

"When you have IGONET you can know that 911 is as near as your VoIP phone. So far, about 40 percent of all IGONET customers have a local phone number, and when they dial 911 they will get the local dispatcher," said Burry. "All of North America will be able to have 911 services with IGONET VOIP by mid-January -- 100 percent!"

IGONET is an affordable, easy-to-use broadband telephone service. The company provides additional information on the web at http://IGONET.net/YourFutureIsYours/.
