Patton, Broadvox, and ABP Partnership Showcases Turn-key SIP Trunking Solution at AstriCon

patton_logo.gifPatton announces a three-way partnership that offers a turn-key SIP Trunking Solution to the VAR community.

Also announced today, Patton is the sponsor for the just-launched VoIP Routers Global Online Community on TMCnet.

The three-way partnership offers a turn-key solution for business-class VoIP that combines SmartNode VoIP IADs from Patton, with SIP trunking services from Broadvox and configuration and distribution services provided by ABP Tech. The three companies are unveiling their joint solutions at AstriCon this week at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD during 26-28 October.

AstriCon is the official conference for Asterisk, the world's leading open source PBX, telephony engine, and telephony applications toolkit. Patton’s exhibit is located in Booth 212.

“We’re addressing the heartache of the people out there,” said Sean Gerrity, Patton’s regional director for North America and Japan. “As a team we bring total solutions with proven interoperability to the marketplace. Stability is a key concern for carriers and business users, as well as VARs. We often hear them say that once they set a SmartNode up they never have to touch it again. The equipment just keeps working. We chose Broadvox and ABP as partners because their services deliver that same kind of reliability.”

“As the telecom industry shifts to VoIP,” said Robert Messer, ABP's President, "the market needs carrier-class products at cost-effective price levels. We chose Patton SmartNode because it offers the industry’s best price-performance for carrier and enterprise-class gateways. Of special interest to service providers is Patton’s touchless provisioning and configuration feature in SmartNode CPEs.”

In January this year, Patton and ABP announced their strategic alliance for the purpose of “storming the Americas VoIP market.” Messer commented, “Patton equipment is made in the USA. American manufacturing is a major benefit for value-added resellers.”

Last month, Patton’s RocketLink 3200 First Mile Ethernet Modem earned TMCnet’s NGN Leadership Award. Recently, Patton’s SmartNode Session Border Controller won the brand’s ninth VoIP award.
