Virtual PBX Receives Unified Communications Magazine’s 2010 Product of the Year Award

virtualPBX_logo.gifTMC has named Virtual PBX’s Open VoIP Peering as a recipient of its 2010 Unified Communications magazine Product of the Year Award.

The pioneer of the hosted PBX market, Virtual PBX became the first company to allow customers to have choice when it comes to using VoIP – known as Open VoIP Peering. Virtual PBX Open VoIP Peering provides businesses with greater flexibility to mix-and-match a VoIP network with any SIP-compliant phone.

Open VoIP Peering gives users the ability to deploy an enterprise-class phone solution for a very low cash outlay. Existing businesses can now add VoIP interoperability to reduce costs since there is no additional cost from Virtual PBX for accessing soft phones, as is common with competitors who charge extra for proprietary digital-enabled phone extensions.

Product of the Year Award winners are published in the April 2011 issue of Unified Communications magazine.
