DSCI Expands iPBX Service to Include iPBX SIP Trunking

DSCI Corporation has added iPBX SIP Trunking to its iPBX Hosted Communications Service offerings. iPBX SIP Trunking sends voice traffic from a premise-based phone system over the same connection used for data, eliminating the need for separate voice access. iPBX voice-over-IP calling features are overlaid on the existing system to provide bundled usage, extension dialing between sites, and support for remote users. The service is completely flexible. Adding capacity or transitioning to a fully-hosted service is easy at any time. It also allows an enterprise to mix hosted iPBX with iPBX SIP Trunking.

iPBX SIP Trunking is a cost-saving solution, not only because it utilizes the current phone system, but because multiple offices can share trunk capacity and calls between sites are free. Additional services available with iPBX SIP Trunking include auto attendants, hunt groups, call recording, and support for remote users. Current user add-ons include a Bria softphone and iPBX Anywhere which lets calls transfer back and forth between a cell phone just as if it was the user’s desk phone. Other group and individual user enhancements are planned for roll-out over the next year.
