BorderWare announces that its SIPassure, SIP Security Gateway is compliant with key Internet protocol communications solutions from Avaya.

BorderWare SIPassure combines the best features of a firewall, an application layer gateway and a session border controller. SIPassure is designed to secure all SIP-based applications, including voice over IP services, video conferencing and other messaging applications. SIPassure is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Communication Manager IP telephony software release 4.0 and Avaya SIP Enablement Services version 3.1.2, a standards-based communications architecture that bridges the public switched telephone network and Internet worlds.

BorderWare is a member of the Avaya DeveloperConnection Program - an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network.

As a member of the program, BorderWare is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant.
