General Components to Supply VoIP Enterprise Solution to China Railcom

General Components Inc., a leading system provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) in China, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Beijing CVC Communications Co., Ltd., a major local system contractor, to provide to China Railcom, in a pilot program, over 3,000 lines of GCI's VoIP enterprise system. In addition to standard telephone features, this system contains Internet Protocol PBX and advanced conferencing. GCI will be providing Internet Protocol soft-switch, billing software and technical engineering support for the system.



Similar to its other broadband products, GCI's enterprise VoIP systems are marketed, licensed and distributed under GCI's brands and trademarks. GCI is currently providing solutions to small-medium enterprises (SME), large corporations and special interest groups.

"After the successful implementation of our products with Motorola China, we are excited to provide VoIP solutions to a large fixed line telecom operator in China. Over the course of last 6 months, we have also developed solid relationship with over 10 major distributors in both Beijing and Shanghai.
