TeleSym and Active Voice Enter Agreement for Mobile VoIP Solution

TeleSym, the leading provider of mobile Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions, announced that it has entered into a manufacturing agreement with Seattle-based Active Voice, LLC, a global provider of unified messaging, computer telephony, and voice messaging solutions to provide customers worldwide with a turnkey, mobile VoIP solution.

Active Voice, with offices in Seattle, Australia, and the Netherlands, has agreed to manufacture TeleSym's SymPhone enterprise mobile VoIP solution. Active Voice will assemble and ship SymPhone Call Registry and SymPhone Call Connector servers to TeleSym customers worldwide.

The SymPhone software solution allows employees to make and receive secure calls over a corporate wired/wireless LAN or via the Internet using computers, PDA's, bar-code scanners, and dual-mode handsets. Incorporating both patent pending call quality technology and RSA security features, SymPhone extends an enterprise or Service Provider PBX to mobile workers and professionals. SymPhone works with digital and analog PBXs, wireless LANs, and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) to preserve and extend existing telephony investments.
