Webinar to Share Insight into New VoIP Trends

NEC will host a webinar titled “The Roadmap to Network Convergence,” on June 5, 2007. Presented by Zeus Kerravala, senior vice president, Enterprise Research, Yankee Group, the webinar will detail best practices for Enterprise end-users navigating the new world of converged communications solutions, applications and availability.

During the presentation, webinar attendees will gain insight into new trends in the VoIP space, including unified communications and mobile applications. Participants will also learn success strategies for TDM-IP migration, enabling them to reduce telecommunications costs and improve employee productivity.

NEC Unified Solutions has extensive experience in designing, installing and implementing enterprise communications systems, offering a full suite of IP telephony solutions, professional services, IP assessments, and managed services.

Zeus Kerravala manages Yankee Group's infrastructure research and consulting groups. His areas of expertise involve working with customers to solve their business issues through the deployment of infrastructure technology solutions, including switching, routing, network management, voice solutions and VPNs.

Following the webinar, Paul Lopez, general manager, Marketing & Services, NEC Unified Solutions, will host a brief podcast outlining critical steps to ensuring successful VoIP migration and avoiding many of the common pitfalls.
