MobileVoIP Convergence Solutions

Net2Phone, a recognized provider of global VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) solutions for service providers, and BridgePort Networks, a leader in MobileVoIP convergence, announced today that Net2Phone selected BridgePort Networks' MobileVoIP convergence architecture for its telecommunications partners. Net2Phone's telecommunications partners will now be able to offer a joint landline - mobile solution to their customers using BridgePort Networks' MobileVoIP convergence solution.

Net2Phone's deployment of BridgePort Networks' software will enable Net2Phone partners to provide an easily implemented MobileVoIP service to their subscribers. With this service subscribers will be afforded a single number voice and messaging communications experience using dual mode cellular/Wi-Fi mobile phones that work seamlessly in either network environment. By integrating BridgePort Networks' core convergence infrastructure software, the NomadicONE Network convergence Gateway with its VoiceLine(SM) solution, Net2Phone will be able to offer its partners a turnkey MobileVoIP solution.

"Working with BridgePort Networks gives us the capability to allow our customers to rapidly go-to-market with MobileVoIP converged services," said Net2Phone CEO Liore Alroy. "Our ability to integrate fixed mobile convergence into our existing VoIP solution solidifies the value of Net2Phone's turnkey VoIP solution for service providers."

BridgePort Networks works with leading companies such as Net2Phone to develop service provider offerings that quickly bring to market end-to-end solutions for MobileVoIP convergence. BridgePort Networks' NomadicONE product family allows mobile providers, fixed providers, broadband cable providers and MVNOs the ability to support single phone number voice and data services that can provide a seamless experience no matter the network - mobile, broadband, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, etc.

"Net2Phone's international presence will enable the quick adoption of MobileVoIP convergence by service providers both mobile and broadband in many markets," said Mike Mulica, President and CEO, BridgePort Networks.

BridgePort Networks and Net2Phone are both active members in the MobileIGNITE industry association for interoperability of fixed mobile convergence applications. Visit the MobileIGNITE website at www.mobileignite.org for additional details.
