TMC and Fonality Partner to Launch trixCon

itc-east-logo.gifTechnology Marketing Corporation have teamed with Fonality to launch trixCon: The Open Communication Conference this January in Miami. To be held January 24-25, 2008 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, trixCon will feature a dedicated presentation theater and exhibition on the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2008 show floor. Attendees seeking open source telephony solutions can attend free educational sessions and visit leading vendors showcasing the latest open source products and services.

As open source technologies gain traction as attractive alternatives to traditional, rigid phone systems, the trixCon educational sessions and exhibit pavilion will offer enterprises, government agencies, and small and medium-sized businesses with the opportunity to learn, ask questions and form valuable partnerships with open source solutions providers.

TMC president and ITEXPO conference chairman Rich Tehrani urges any company in the market for a better phone system to visit trixCon and research open source solutions. “Today’s open source PBXs, like Fonality’s trixbox and trixbox Pro, offer feature-rich, scalable options, free from the constraints of a hardware-based IP PBX. They also offer flexibility over many hosted options,” said Tehrani. “Companies researching solutions should visit trixCon and engage with vendors to explore the products and select the right solution.”

“The emergence of trixbox as one of the dominant Asterisk-based projects gives consultants and resellers the opportunity to expand their portfolios with an offering that delivers extreme value to the customer and puts profits into the channel,” said Arnold Waldstein, senior vice president of marketing for Fonality. “An event the size and scope of trixCon clearly indicates the success of the project and the community of resellers that have galvanized around it.”

Registration for INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO is now open at www.itexpo.com.
