Switchvox Launches Fully-Transferable Hosted IP PBX Platform

Switchvox launches Switchvox Hosted Edition the only virtualized IP PBX that can seamlessly transfer small business customers to a dedicated on-site appliance. This unique offering is ideal for service providers and office suites that require a higher density solution to sell to smaller offices, which are often hesitant to purchase hosted phone systems that are unable to grow with their businesses.

Switchvox Hosted Edition enables Internet Service Providers, value-added resellers and other VoIP service providers to provide customers with Switchvox’s fully-featured IP PBX phone system, running in a virtualized environment. These providers can offer small companies subscriptions to the sophisticated phone system, which includes of all the benefits offered by Switchvox’s on-premise solutions, such as the Switchboard, Switchvox’s real-time call control panel; voicemail; call forwarding and voice prompts.

Recognizing that many smaller organizations do not remain stagnant in size, Switchvox is now the only vendor to provide a hosted phone system platform that seamlessly transfers a company’s current set-up to a dedicated server installed on premises. With Switchvox Hosted Edition, virtual PBX providers are now able to retain customers as they grow, as well as attract smaller businesses with an easy-to-transfer solution.

“Smaller offices need a reliable and stable phone system, but often cannot afford an on-site solution and are not interested in paying per line when they have intentions of expanding,” said Joshua Stephens, Switchvox CEO. “With Switchvox Hosted Edition, they now have access to a fully-featured IP PBX, and ISPs can feel confident approaching this niche market with a product line that can transition with their customers as they grow, instead of being locked in to expensive softswitches to provide hosted PBX solutions.”

Switchvox Hosted Edition is available immediately. Further information on Switchvox can be found at http://www.switchvox.com.
