I am very unhappy with my blue sky service mainly because once you have registered, the customer service is inexistant!
I have called 5 times and e-mailed 4 times in the last 10 days and i did not get ANY help! My e-mails were not answered, and the help phone line connects you only to a call center where they take a message for blue sky and say they will call you in the next 24h. Which never happens.

And I was calling them because i couldn't access my online account, but mainly because the quality of the line wasn't good at all. At times i couldn't hear what the other person was saying.

So today i decided to cancel my blue sky service and realized that this "No-contract" service will charge me $50 as a termination fee because i called within the first year. Now that IS a contract.

Anyway, I would not recommand this to anybody.

I would NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend blue sky phone to anyone. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I have called up 6 times to complain about the online account being unavailable, but everytime they take a message and never call back.

they dont have a direct customer service. someone takes your call and passed it on another technician who is supposed to call up withing 24 hours.

I have been calling them from the past 3 days to cancel the service, but i have not any response from them.

Homesite doesn't work , server down. Can't call outside US, no any e-mail answer, no way to cancel service. All I have to do is prompt call to my bank and block my credit card.....
It looks like chapter 11 or fraud.

Yeah, i ordered blue sky on march 1st, 2007, and received e-mail confirmation on the 5th. well i never received my phone jack that was supposed to come, so i dont have ANY service. not to meantion they're website has been down for quite some time now. i have e-mailed as many bluesky e-mail addresses as i could find, countless times, i have called customer support many many times, only to be told someone will return my call within 24 hours, and they never do.
looks like i wasted a good $45 setup fee. all i have to do now is call the bank and make sure they don't try to charge me again i guess....

I began this service two months ago. It never worked. Only one call out of perhaps 10 was returned. No e-mails returned. The service never worked. I cancelled by e-mail and phone and never heard anything. This company apparently does not exist once they've charged for your first month and equipment. As others have noted, customer service is also not available; only an answering service!

I am having the same problem as everybody else. I can't make calls out but can receive some in comming calls. I hae been a customer for 6 months but have had problems for 6 months. It seems they have not charged my credit card since Feb07. I will call my credit card company and have them stop any future charges to my credit card. Blueskyphone sucks.

Blue Sky is the WORST!! Sure when it works it's only so-so not horific (never the crystal clear they promise), but most of the time it doesn't even work. As stated by others, there is zero customer service now, it used to be just bad when I first got them, a "tech" person calling me back telling me the problems must be the phones I've used successfully for years with my landline because it certainly wasn't THEIR equipment. Then the guy would ask me a question and talk over my answering it! Awful!! But that was better than you get now, which is some snotty answering center that will "pass along the problem to a tech" and that's all you ever hear. They never call back. Do not by any means get this "service" no matter what the reviews on other websites tell you, I learned the hard way that they are most likely planted by someone at Blue Sky itself. I've been trying to switch back to my Verizon landline but they have to have an active dial tone to do so and these bums can't seem to keep mine on long enough for that to happen! I've been thinking of filing a class action suit because they aren't providing me with 911 service as required by law...anyone interested?

I too am a victim. Since May 2, 2007, I have not been able to make an outgoing call. Since May 5, 2007, I have called at least once a day, except for two days, and also told someone would call in 24 hours. Of course, no calls or e mails as of today, even taking an alternate phone number and e mail address each call I made.

I tried to make a complaint with the BBB and I can not find an address for Blue Sky or anyone who knows the address. I did do some checking with the website and found that MR. MAKSIM GELLER has the site; his address is 2435 E 22ND ST., BROOKLYN, NY, which I'm sure is an office. Of course thereare no phone numbers but ther are two fax numbers: 917/257-5585 and 5598.I'm sure there will not be any better response if faxes are sent.

The website has also been down, under maintenance, since May 5, 2007. They have to be having major problems if the site is still under maintenance or maybe they have closed the doors and no one knows about it yet. Who knows because no one seems to be able to speak with anyone other than the answering service they have.

I'm with CBURKE, we need to take some action if we want resolution I guess.

It's now May 17,2007 and no phone call. I have called eveyday but 2 or 3. I am almost on first name basis with the call takers.

Enough is enough. I am switching to another provider and talking to an attorney. If anyone is ready to seek legal action let me know. I have waited long enoughfor a response from Blue Sky.

I just got my SunRocket account running today and it is unreal the difference between the two companies.

I have now lost all service withBlu Sky. I had been able to receive calls but now Ido not have a dial tone. I gues they have shut the doors completly.

I still have not received a call from customer service and have called everyday since May 5th except two or three days.

I have been told that if you call during regular business hours, you can ask for the business office and they may provide information on Blue Sky; I will see if they will in the morning if this is true.

I had this service with BlueSky phone and I made some research, they converted to Sunrise phone. www.sunrisephone.com

LOOK AT THEIR WEBSITE AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IT IS THE SAME.

They keep selling services to innocent people like I was. You can complain to BBB for this fraud and blame the President of the BLUE SKY BROADBAND LLC, GARY SHOKIN who is residing in NYC at 1 MORTON SQURE APT 2BE New York NY 10014.
His phone number is 908 7206471.
I will get them!

I went on to www.sunrisephone.com and was able to use my old login and password. I was able to check my account and it showed they had been charging my credit card for the last 4 months. I called their contact number and got hold of some type answering service and explain I would sue them if the didn't close my account. He seem surprised that somebody and figured out bluesky phone had become sunshine phone.com. Today I am no longer able to log onto their web site and use my old login and password. I recommend you log and check for yourselves.

I signed up with SUNRISEPHONE BROADBAND VOIP (www.sunrisephone.com) and have had NOTHING but problems with the service. Signed up in Aug. 2007 and they first month was hell. Only had dial tone , no features worked and sound quality was crap. No one could hear me and there was a 3 - 4 second delay on calls ( voice back and forth). The first month they charged me 49.95 TWICE causing my account to overdraw when a few small checks came through. Cost me over $100 . I contacted them only to be told that they would refund me the installation charges and that it was going to be taken care of. they refunded both and told me there would be NO installation charges. Next month I was charged the 24.95 service fee PLUS 49.99 installation charge. Every time I emailed them, I was told they had it fixed and that there would be no more problems and that wasn't the case. Service never worked right and I had enough, I canceled it sent back the modem (AT MY COST OF $20.98) and was charged ANOTHER 24.95 to my checking for the next month. DO NOT DEAL WITH SUNRISE PHONE aka BLUE SKY BROADBAND ...... They WILL rip you off.

Well, the quality hasn't been the greatest, but usually unplugging the modem/VOIPbox would get us rollin' again. After not having service since sometime this morning, AND their website is gone, as is their contact number... I switched over to AT&T's VOIP service. I can't afford to have my small business phone down, the second week after we open our doors... We already have a fair amount of returning customers, and some of them want to phone in their orders if they are running late. Bye bye Sun(set!)
