Verso to Exhibit at CommunicAsia 2006

Verso Technologies, Inc., a global provider of next generation network solutions, announced its participation at CommunicAsia 2006 (June 20-23) in Singapore, at the Singapore Expo, Stand 6E1-14, Hall 6, U.S. International Pavilion.

CommunicAsia 2006, which incorporates the three sub-shows of MobileCommAsia2006, NetworkAsia2006 and SatComm2006, is an international, comprehensive info-communications event showcasing innovations in 3G, mobile communications and applications, broadband wireless, next generation networks, enterprise networks and technologies, VoIP, satellite communications and technologies, IP technology, and infrastructure solutions.

The audience includes carriers, service providers and system integrators focused on VoIP, access compression and prepaid innovations. Verso will feature several offerings from its widening next generation network (NGN) portfolio including the MetroNet VoIP Overlay Solution and the I-Master Solution. The VoIP Overlay is a turnkey, NGN offering for metropolitan market deployments that enables key services and features for enterprise and residential VoBB subscribers. It can be deployed into virtually any metropolitan market over any broadband medium including cable, DSL, wireless, fiber, satellite, and microwave.

I-Master, a multi-service real-time authentication platform that increases revenue and customer loyalty, transforms a traditional prepaid calling account into an access portal for messaging, conferencing, Internet access and on-demand information services. I-Master also allows service providers to manage complex rating schemes and support foreign currencies. The solution may be combined with a separate offering known as the I-Master Application Server, which provides interoperability, full carrier-class scalability and complete fail-over support to any third party NGN softswitch platform on the market today.

Additionally Verso will showcase its NetPerformer GSM technology, a bandwidth optimization solution for a variety of converged network settings. Specifically, the NetPerformer GSM Backhaul solution addresses the needs of the growing GSM Backhaul Market, and minimizes network infrastructure cost between cell towers, base station controllers, and mobile switching centers. The solution optimizes bandwidth utilization on all types of GSM network interfaces including A.bis, A.ter, A, and E, requiring fewer lines or satellite/microwave links.

Verso will also share with the Asia market the evolution of its softswitch solutions, which have recently secured Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) compliance. Included within the evolving softswitch family is the IPCentrex solution, a "facility-less" hosted PBX offering that extends the features and functions of Verso's Class 5 Call Manager.
