$14.95 Unlimited Canada & USA - 1 Month FREE
I just started using the Zingotel service the other week, and it works great. Under 2 minutes to plug in the provided cables...computer doesn't even need to be turned on...only need your broadband modem switched on and you are ready to make a call...instant dial tone through the included Sipura/Linksys telephone adapter. It took about 3 weeks to get my telephone adapter via UPS, but they are only slow due to the popularity of their service...I was patient and waited...once my Zingotel package left their offices in Florida it only took 1 day to reach me with UPS express air delivery to Canada. That is impressive, and I appreciated the quick to-my-door delivery. I can forgive them for my 3 week wait since the service works exceptionally good. I was even able to get a Canadian phone #. Looks like I will definately be a customer for a while, as I have nothing to complain about. If you want a good provider of VOIP for a low cost...choose Zingotel.

The person who posted before me must not have had to deal with customer service before..
Zingotel is very unreliable, calls are choppy even on T1.
Lots of hidden fees and requirements.
Stay away!

Great concept - virtual numbers in different cities - lousy tech support, on more than one occasion I have been without voicemail for weeks at a time, very frustrating. Their tech support line never works, when you leave an e-mail they give you a case number, and that's the last you hear!!

I have had zingotel for about a year and half now. Ther quality of voice is great. The setup is childsplay. In the whole time tha I have had it...the only complaint that I have is the customer support. They dont have 24/7 support. You can never get someone of the phone. Email support is slow...but it has worked for me.. no complaints. The prices are unbeatable.. its just the customer support that leaves one wishing for more.

Zingotel is SCAM!!! Stay away!!! They may offer good prices, but once you are signed up, you are on your own. You will get 0 support if you have any problems/issues. I've been the customer for over one year and they were unable to fix any problem I used to have. Then I asked them to disconnect and sent them the equipment. They "haven't received it" and don't have "technical people" that could disconnect my service. There is never customer support. The CS phone number is useless. You call and put in waiting line. You are called number "5" and hold time is less then 2 minutes, so you hold. In the next 10 minutes you will be caller number 3 and the hold time will increase between 5 to 15 minutes, so you continue to hold, however after 20 minutes they drop you. The e-mail CS is even worth, they ask you the same question over and over and even ask to call CS number. So STAY AWAY they are SCAM!!!!

These people are awful. Stay away from them. Not only do they not offer customer support, they will continue trying to bill you after you have asked to have their service disconnected.
They also have a screwed up concept of "unlimited" They mean that they'll let you talk the same number of minutes as the average of ALL their residential customers. If you go over that, they'll bump you to the business plan for 50 bucks. You pay that price, or get charged a disconnect fee.
My best advice is to cancel the credit card they have on file and run like mad the other direction. If you want to get in touch with customer service, call from a number other than your home phone. They'll answer the phone after about 2 minutes, as opposed to being put in line and ignored.
PLEASE: Report this company to the BBB, FCC and any other place you can think of. This scam has got to be stopped.

They have 3rd class service. I have residential unlimited plan but paying $60-80 per month (instead of $25 as mentioned on their site). and yes, they have pathetic support and once you reach certian minutes (in unlimited) they switch plan to business (This is exactly what a support guy told me !). I am going out of country therefore still have to keep the service untill I return (oh my God :(:( ). Overall I'll rate them -10 out of 100.
I am thinking of buying AT&T CallVantage VoIP phone, similar rates for unlimited residential.

BE AWARE, ZINGOTEL is the KING OF the CUSTOMER FRAUD
This business plan of this compagny is fraud and false information. Don't give them you credit card information, the will charge even in free trial period.
I signed up for the basic plan at 9.95$ with free local call as mentioned in their webpage. The setup service was really bad, The technician are incompetents and you can waste a lot of time without resolution.
But They did not waste time to charge my credit card. They changed my plan to the 19.95$ plan and charged a shipping services charges of 9.95 even if they shipped nothing to me. Above that they you get charged when you call their customer support free number because I did not purchased their free 800 calls plan. Soon enough they started charging even local calls. When I I tell you . Zingotel is in Scam and fraud bussiness.
