Toshiba's Telecommunication Systems Division announces the availability of its new IP5000-series IP telephones, bringing a new modern design, backlit displays and built-in Gigabit Ethernet switch that supports high-speed network connections directly to the desktop, providing exceptional performance and sound quality. Now available, the IP5000-series telephones are compatible with the Toshiba Strata CIX family of IP business communications systems.

Features of Toshiba’s new IP5000 telephones include:

The telephones have a modern look with a black body, dark grey keys and a silver tilt stand.
  • Ease of Use — Large, easy-to-read backlit LCD screen makes it easier for users to see, access and use the telephone’s sophisticated features.
  • High Performance and Sound Quality — Built-in dual Gigabit Ethernet ports support high-speed network connections directly to the desktop, providing enhanced VoIP performance and sound quality. This is a standard feature on all the IP5000 models.
  • Mobility — Toshiba’s IP5000 telephones can be moved around the office or taken home for use virtually anywhere there is Internet access.
  • Remote Use — When used remotely, Toshiba’s IP5000 telephones deliver all the features as if they were being used at the office, including both incoming and outgoing Caller ID, direct extension calling and more.

Toshiba’s new IP5000 telephones are available in three models:

  • IP5122-SD — Four-line LCD IP telephone with 10 programmable buttons, available with or without local CO line interface.
