Major Update for the FriendCaller Android VoIP App

friendcaller_logo.gifThe latest version of the FriendCaller Android app is now available for free download. This update includes numerous improvements in the user interface and there are optimizations made in various functions.

FriendCaller.com is operated by C2Call GmbH, and is an easy-to-use, browser based VoIP solution, allowing users to make free calls from the WebPhone to anyone on the Internet, with no software installation for the "callee" or the person being called. Additionally, the invited call participant does not require to register with FriendCaller. The peer-to-peer calls work with any browser on Windows, OS X and Linux, and is also available for Android, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Nokia Series 40 SIP Phones, as a Facebook App and for SIP capable clients.

Besides changes in the interface, a completely new and intuitive contact list is introduces. The Android VoIP app now also has the Offer Wall feature to earn free calling credit. In the re-invented contact list, contacts and friends are now fully merged in to a single list, and also you are now able to see the Facebook pictures of your contacts, if they have already connected FriendCaller with Facebook. Furthermore, a speed dial functionality was implemented and also there are these three new sorting options; for a better overview, depending on the personal desire.

This application works with all Android phones and tablets, which have installed at least Android 1.6 and can be downloaded directly from the Google Android market.
