360networks Delivers New Wholesale VoIP Service

360networks, the premier regional service provider in the western United States, will debut a new wholesale VoIP service offering ("VoIP360") at the Fall VON tradeshow. VoIP360 is designed to enable cable operators, ISP's, CLEC's, wireless broadband and other service providers to quickly and cost effectively enter the VoIP market and provide IP-based voice services to their residential and business subscribers.

With a single IP connection and feature server, customers can access 360networks VoIP platform and receive an a-la-carte menu of services, such as inbound and outbound local calling, e911 services, directory listings, local number portability, operator services, caller name services, directory assistance and domestic LD termination.

Initially serving over 500 rate centers in tier one through tier four markets throughout the western United States, VoIP360 provides comprehensive coverage and will enable existing VoIP service providers to expand their service coverage. VoIP360 is 100 percent IP-based and runs on the company's wholly-owned 16,000 mile fiber optic backbone, providing maximum reach, reliability and quality of service.

"We built the VoIP360 service with the flexibility to meet specific customer needs," said Rick Coma, senior vice president of business development. "Providing an a-la-carte menu of VoIP service components that are structured as building blocks, allows us to provide our customers with the greatest flexibility."

360networks is in the final stages of beta testing with multiple customers using the VoIP360 service. "Our experience with 360networks VoIP service has been tremendous. We have been able to provide high-quality, reliable VoIP services to our residential and enterprise customers," said Todd Graetz, chief executive officer, of TransAria, Inc. "We have been able to give our customers what they were looking for by leveraging the dedicated customer care team at 360networks and the customization and flexibility that 360networks' VoIP360 service provides. As an added benefit, we also now have access to all of 360networks' core infrastructure services."
