snom_logo.jpgsnom and SYNNEX Corporation have signed a partnership agreement. Under the terms of the deal, SYNNEX will become a distributor for snom's portfolio of advanced desktop and wireless VoIP phones in North America.

"We are pleased partner with snom and add their entire suite of advanced SIP phones to the SYNNEX portfolio," said Bob Stegner, senior vice president, Marketing, North America of SYNNEX Corporation. "snom SIP phones combine advanced IP telephony features, elegant design with an affordable price point. We believe that our customers will see value in this blend of price and performance."

SYNNEX OEM and reseller customers can now easily incorporate snom's unique value of advanced security features and interoperability with the snom 820 VoIP phone and the broadly used snom3xx series. Besides the highly functional SIP desk phones, the company has the snom m3 DECT mobility phone and the innovative snom MeetingPoint wideband SIP conference phone. For more advanced communications, snom phones can support unified communications solutions such as Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2. snom's product portfolio of VoIP phones provide an optimal VoIP communication system to the home, SMB, SME, Enterprise and hosted ITSPs markets. In addition, snom's SIP phones create viable remote worker options with VPN while operating with reduced costs as the most energy efficient, green VoIP phones.

Last week, snom launched the snom 870, an advanced touch screen desktop phone for the enterprise as well as small and mid-sized business markets. The new phone is the latest addition to snom's "8" series of fourth generation SIP phones and features a slim, elegant design and powerful multimedia capabilities anchored by its innovative color touch screen display and highly intuitive interface.

"This partnership with SYNNEX further establishes our presence in North America and is an added proof point of snom's momentum in the market," said Michael Knieling, executive director of sales and marketing for snom. "With an open standards-based SIP architecture, snom phones seamlessly integrate with a wide array of IP PBX and hosted VoIP platforms as well as unified communications and CRM solutions. SYNNEX customers can now deliver a cutting-edge IP telephony solution to their end customers that offer affordability, advanced features, ease and speed for integration and provisioning."
