BroadVoice Releases ''AirDroid'' VoIP Application for Any Smartphone Platform

BroadVoice announces its support for the Android operating system, and immediate availability of the BroadVoice “AirDroid” VoIP application. This is the first individually customized VoIP application available for any smartphone platform. The BroadVoice AirDroid application will provide BroadVoice customers low cost domestic and international calling while on WiFi or 3G networks. Once downloaded and installed, the AirDroid application allows BroadVoice customers unlimited calling to 57 countries at one flat rate.

BroadVoice customers can log into their portal, and have the ability to initiate an email to their phone that contains the AirDroid application. Once downloaded, the user simply launches the application, and AirDroid is installed on their phone. The application is fully provisioned for their account, with all credentials installed and loaded on their phone. There are no configurations, or settings to worry about.

AirDroid allows users to call around the world while at home or traveling, eliminating access numbers or special codes to remember or dial. Simply enter a number, or select an existing contact, and press the call icon, and BroadVoice does the rest.
