IPEVO Showcases its Slim USB Handset for VoIP

ipevo_logo.jpgIPEVO is showcasing its slim USB handset for VoIP at Spring VON.x held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California from March 18-19. IPEVO's handset is a flexible solution for VoIP offering seamless integration with Skype software, Avaya one-X Desktop Edition, and other VoIP applications.

Emphasizing the company's commitment to supporting a broader range of SIP-based VoIP applications, IPEVO is exhibiting the USB handset and other devices in Booth D-914 in the Digium Asterisk World pavilion, dedicated to the companies that are leading the way in Open Source products and services.

IPEVO's USB handset features a slim, compact design that has received numerous international design awards. An optional back-lit LCD display brings caller ID and contact lists right to the palm of the hand. Built-in recording capabilities let users record VoIP conversations at the touch of a button. Engineered and optimized for Internet Telephony, the handset ensures exceptional sound quality with 16k sampling rate for VoIP to VoIP calls and an 8k rate for calls to landlines. The phone's unique hollow mouthpiece minimizes the annoying "echo" effect -- a common complaint among VoIP users.

The USB handset, along with other IPEVO products, will be available for purchase at the IPEVO online store. Select products can also be found at a growing number of online and brick and mortar retailers, including Fry's Electronics, Amazon.com, and Amperor Direct. Value Added Resellers, and enterprise organizations are welcome to discuss opportunities with the IPEVO team at VON.
