PhoneFusion One Service Unveiled

PhoneFusion announces an enhanced version of its flagship PhoneFusion One product. By tightly integrating the powerful benefits of a Unified Communications solution with the cost-savings of VoIP technology, PhoneFusion One gives small businesses an easy and affordable way to manage all of their daily communications. For as little as $3.95 a month, small business professionals can get access to the same features and benefits of some of the most advanced enterprise class Unified Communications systems.

With PhoneFusion One, users have one phone number to give to colleagues, family and friends. When this number is dialed, PhoneFusion One then directs the call to the phone or fax as the subscriber chooses. PhoneFusion One delivers standard features one would expect from a traditional phone service, as well as some of the most advanced business functionality available. New features include Control Center from the desktop, a Softphone application that allows the computer to work as a telephone, the ability to record and deliver announcements based on time and a powerful voicemail application that centralizes multiple voicemail boxes and allows people to see a list of their voicemail messages right on their mobile device. With these enhancements and more, PhoneFusion One is poised to deliver the most comprehensive set of business communications features available to small businesses.

New PhoneFusion One Features

The following PhoneFusion One features are available immediately.
  • The PhoneFusion One Control Center gives subscribers complete call control directly from their desktop. Using the Control Center, subscribers can see who is calling on a small caller ID box on the computer screen. With that information, the subscriber can choose to send the call to voicemail, hang up, accept the call or transfer it to another number.
  • The Softphone application essentially turns the computer into a telephone, enabling people to make and receive calls and access voicemail over a high-speed Internet connection, truly creating a Unified Communications product.
  • Outbound Faxing enables subscribers to fax documents from a computer to a fax line right through a PhoneFusion One number, with just an Internet connection. PhoneFusion One had previously allowed subscribers to receive faxes directly to their email. Now, with the outbound fax capability, there is no need for a regular fax machine.
  • The Virtual Attendant feature delivers a PBX-type phone system without any expensive equipment to buy. Using the PhoneFusion One Virtual Attendant, small businesses can have the same features as a sophisticated telecommunications system for one low monthly payment.
  • Automatic Call Recording allows subscribers to easily record important calls and review them later as a voicemail message, through the Virtual Inbox or in an email with a .WAV file attachment.
  • A Click to Call Hyperlink provides subscribers with a hyperlink that can be embedded in places such as a Web page or email signature. When a person sees and clicks on the subscriber's link, a Web page opens and asks for the number to be called. PhoneFusion One then connects both parties immediately.
  • Call Me Now is a powerful way for people to save money on expensive outbound calls -- from a mobile device or land line. Whether the subscriber is traveling overseas or staying at a hotel with high call rates, he can send an email or text message from any device to PhoneFusion One and provide the number to locate him. PhoneFusion One then immediately calls the person back at that number and gives access to a dial-tone.
New features scheduled for release in Q1, 2008 include:
  • Fusion Voicemail Plus - A downloadable voicemail application that centralizes multiple voicemail boxes for easy access from a mobile device and allows people the freedom to see a list of their voicemail messages right on their mobile device. This provides the user a faster, more efficient way to review messages in the order they want, rather than dialing multiple voicemail systems and listening to the messages in chronological order;
  • Announcements Based on Time - Users can record various announcements and program them to play to inbound calls at certain times of the day. For example, an "after hours" message could automatically set to play for all calls after 5 p.m. Subscribers Get 100 Days Free
To give subscribers a chance to experience all that PhoneFusion One has to offer, the company is offering 100 days of free service. This includes all PhoneFusion One features and 500 minutes of usage per month.
