Deerfield Partners with 3CX to Provide VOIP PBX System

text-partnership.jpgDeerfield and 3CX announce a strategic distribution partnership that pairs 3CX’s PBX for Windows with Deerfield.com’s U.S. Electronic Software Distribution network.

3CX is an open standard, full-featured IP PBX server built to SIP standards. A cost effective, easy to use alternative to traditional hardware PBX, 3CX seamlessly integrates: existing PSTN lines using VOIP gateways, VOIP providers and SIP soft or hard phones, providing a comprehensive PBX server without proprietary hardware or software restrictions.

3CX benefits include:
  • Reduced call charges using VOIP providers (Vonage, Broadvoice, etc.)
  • Web based, easy to use administrative interface
  • Auto Attendant, Ring Groups, Call Queuing, and Voice Mail for flexible call routing
  • Hot Desk – move phones from one desk to another without rewiring or reconfiguring
  • Allow remote employees to pick up their extension from anywhere
“As a software publisher and distributor in the Internet communication space for over a decade, Voice Over IP is a market that we tabbed early on as being the right kind of exciting and value driven technology for our customers and channel, and it’s an area of increasing adoption,” said Mike Deerfield, Deerfield.com CEO. “However, until now, we haven’t found that perfect fit for us and our business model. 3CX Phone System brings an amazing value to the end user, while creating an exciting business opportunity for our channel partners”.

“Our initial interest in 3CX came when our eleven year old, outdated proprietary PSTN phone system needed an upgrade. After researching and testing different VOIP PBX servers, we found 3CX was the perfect combination of cutting edge technology, usability and value that we look for in products that we use and represent.”

“One of the things that makes this product so incredibly compelling is its cost of ownership,” said Deerfield. “Comparing what we were paying for our old proprietary PBX server, system maintenance and long distance fees, we expect to make up the entire cost of implementation of 3CX and new IP phones within six months. We love the fact that it’s open SIP standards based and doesn’t tie us into any one vendor or technology, so it let us integrate our existing PSTN lines with new SIP phones and our VOIP provider, all through an easy to use web based interface hosted on a low cost Windows server!”

"We are very pleased to have signed up Deerfield as a value added distributor,” said Nick Galea. “Deerfield Communications is well established, and known for providing excellent sales & technical support. It’s an honor to be able to work with Deerfield in building our partner channel in the US. "

“3CX is the right combination of technology, value and timing. We’re tremendously excited to promote this new technology to our existing channel and new channel members, and we expect this to be a great opportunity for all involved,” concluded Deerfield.
