VoX to Deliver Broadband Phone Service

Allegiance will private label VoX to give its customers, most of whom live in smaller, underserved cities and towns, access to the cost and feature benefits of broadband phone service.

Allegiance owns and operates broadband cable systems in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. The company, which recently acquired systems from Charter Communications, now counts more than 175,000 homes passed in their served markets. The wholesale agreement with VoX will enable Allegiance customers to enjoy the savings and convenience of receiving television, Internet and phone service from a single provider.

Allegiance’s business is built on bringing advanced services to rural areas and in building relationships with the customers in these communities. Customers are served by a network of 18 field offices.

“Allegiance is a trusted provider in the communities we serve, so it was critical that we partner with people who share our high standards for quality, responsiveness and support,” said Bill Haggerty, President and CEO at Allegiance. “VoX continues to exceed our expectations with a team of professionals who are detail oriented, ethical and experts in the delivery of broadband phone service that lives up to its promises. We look forward to a long, successful relationship.”

“We are proud to partner with Allegiance in their efforts to bridge the digital divide that keeps many people from taking advantage of broadband technologies including Digital Phone Service. VoX continues to successfully attract premier cable companies with an efficient, turnkey SIP-based solution that can be deployed with incredible speed and ease. We are proud to have Allegiance private brand our voice offering,” said Mark Richards, President and CIO of VoX Communications.
