New Markets Added in Nationwide Expansion of VoIP

Pac-West Telecomm, Inc., a leading provider of traditional and next-generation voice communications services, announced it is now serving customers across its expanded network in Washington, D.C. and Denver, Colorado.

Hank Carabelli, Pac-West president and CEO, commented, "With the additions of Washington, D.C. and Denver, our infrastructure now covers approximately 18.5% of the total U.S. population, on track to cover over 50% of the U.S. population in the second half of 2006. Washington, D.C. represents our first east coast market. Denver is not only a key market for our service provider customers, but a key region for attracting talent as we grow our network and services. With the addition of these markets, we are providing an even broader solution for our service provider customers."

Pac-West offers Service Providers a viable alternative for both emerging VoIP services as well as traditional Internet Service Provider (ISP) services. Pac-West's Dial-Access and Managed Modem products will be available immediately in both markets, to be followed by Pac-West's full suite of communication enabling products as the entire expanded footprint is brought online.

Pac-West is currently executing on a planned nationwide expansion that will allow service providers to provide communications services to an addressable market of more than 150 million end-users across an additional 36 major metropolitan markets in the second-half of 2006. Pac-West intends to further expand this coverage area and service offerings, creating one of the most comprehensive, single source solution available for bridging traditional circuit-switched and next-generation IP-based services. This national infrastructure is anticipated to serve the needs of VoIP Providers, Wireless Broadband Providers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Carriers and other Next-Generation Service Providers.
