JAJAH Offers US: Low Cost Web-Activated Phone-to-Phone Calls

JAJAH, one of the world's fastest-growing VoIP companies, announced the launch of JAJAH US, the first low-cost VoIP service that allows users to talk phone-to-phone. With JAJAH's web-activated telephony, there are no downloads, no installations, no headsets and no expensive charges. JAJAH is the first VoIP service designed for all telephone users who appreciate a cheap call-even the "technologically challenged!"

"The simple approach of JAJAH opens the world of Internet telephony to practically everyone!" said JAJAH co-founder Roman Scharf. "Placing a call via JAJAH has already been likened to searching a keyword on Google." Backed by Sequoia Capital Partners, JAJAH includes Sequoia's Haim Sadger and ICQ co- founder and instant messaging pioneer Yair Goldfinger among its board members.

"JAJAH is Sequoia's first entry into VoIP-for a reason," said Sadger. "JAJAH is the first service that combines the economy of VoIP calling with the ease-of-use to which consumers and small businesses are accustomed." "Not since the early days of ICQ have I been so excited about the potential of technology to free communication," said Goldfinger. "JAJAH developed a truly ground-breaking new service and has huge potential for further exciting developments."

Simple as ordinary phone calls

JAJAH establishes phone-to-phone connections through the Internet for cheap calls. The process is simple: Callers type in their own number (landline or mobile) at http://www.jajah.com/ , and insert their desired destination number. JAJAH then rings both parties on their actual phones. The call isn't any different than any other normal phone conversation, only significantly cheaper!

User Benefits

JAJAH was designed with all phone users in mind-not just the tech savvy, like some VoIP services. JAJAH users don't even need broadband, just an Internet connection to initiate the call and to connect with any phone- landline or mobile. Calls are substantially cheaper than other carriers, especially for international calls to landline or mobile phones. For example, U.S. to China calls are $.06/minute. And, the calls are crystal clear!
