Rebtel Launches Voice Platform for iOS and Android Developers

Rebtel announces
the private beta launch of its new SDK for iOS and Android. The Rebtel Voice Platform
introduces a powerful yet simple tool that will now allow developers to integrate
voice capabilities into any app in 15 minutes.

Now any app developer looking to add a live calling feature has the ability to stream
voice to their customer base. Gaming apps like Poker and apps that offer social networking
features such as picture sharing comprise the bulk of apps developed today, and are
prime examples of specific use case scenarios where smartphone users could benefit
from free app to app calls.

Using Rebtel's Voice Platform for in-app calling means game developers can offer players
the opportunity to phone a friend for strategy tips without ever having to leave the
game environment, and dating apps can now offer the ability for real-time voice calls
for better matchmaking possibilities.

The launch of the platform comes at a critical time for developers who are looking
into new ways to monetize their user base, while making their apps more social to
create and extend value to consumers. With voice no longer being a stand-alone service
provided by operators, the Rebtel Voice Platform also addresses the emerging trend
of an ever-growing number of smartphone users who are turning to OTT (Over The Top)
services for free or cheap calling alternatives at the expense of traditional carriers.

“Voice is a feature that can significantly augment the user experience in a variety
of verticals and in the long term we see the Rebtel Voice Platform as a game-changing
tool for developers,” said Rebtel CEO Andreas Bernstrom. “With the launch of this
free service, thousands of content publishers and smartphone developers will have
the opportunity to enrich their applications with a voice layer thereby increasing
usage and appeal, or they can even distribute their own branded mobile VoIP app without
any large back-end commitment.”

Rebtel’s software development kit makes for an intriguing proposition for developers
in most app categories and the company has already attracted inaugural launch partners.
They include Palo Alto-based, VIVfone a consolidated mobile CRM app that fundamentally
improves the business calling, information gathering and transaction services for
consumers and Stockholm-based MobisleApps that develops applications in the lifestyle,
dating, and productivity categories.

“Rebtel’s SDK allows us to bring a simple, yet powerful and thoroughly road- tested
calling functionality into our app. It connects our users in an intuitive but elegant
and reliable way,” said Fredrik Olofsson, CEO, MobisleApps. “There is a tremendous
value-add for us in being able to extend the utility and interactivity over a wide
range of applications, which we feel will give us a lift in downloads, as well as
in driving longer and more frequent user interactions.”

“We chose to work with Rebtel because starting with superior quality HD calls lays
the foundation for a robust service that consumers will love,” said Ratesh Dhir, Co-Founder
and VP Business Development, VIVfone.

Rebtel’s Voice Platform SDK tool-kit for iOS and Android includes the following:

Free SDK tool for any developer of any size

Swift integration that can be completed in 15 minutes

Synchronous free app to app calling over Wi-Fi or 3G

Crystal clear quality with HD voice technology based on bandwidth adaptable iSAC codec

All signaling and codec handling wrapped into one easy package, with no back-end support
or infrastructure commitment needed

On the heels of the news, Rebtel will be delivering a dedicated panel session in promotion
of their new SDK launch during the Appnation conference in San Francisco on Wednesday,
December 12th from 3:10pm to 4:00pm. The session titled, “Give Your App a Voice -
How to Add a Social Layer to Your App,” will focus on how developers can successfully
integrate this powerful new add-on service to drive customer acquisition and retention.

App developers interested in more finding out more about Rebtel’s Voice Platform SDK
can also sign up from the website at www.rebtel.com/sdk or see

Global announces the availability of its latest mobile application for Apple devices.
Now, owners of Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod touch can make and receive phone calls

a multi-purpose business phone system with powerful features, including:

Make and receive phone calls via a WiFi connection or 3G/4G network using VoIP

24/7 auto attendant to answer and route inbound calls professionally

Multiple extensions for employees, including intercom functionality

Enhanced voice mail service with transcriptions and audio files sent to email or text

eVoice Transforms the Mobile Device Into A Business-Class Phone System

According to a survey of small and mid-sized business owners conducted by The Business
Journals (a division of the American City Business Journals) earlier in 2011, and
reported in a press release posted on smallbiztrends.com, the use of desktops and
laptops is decreasing while the use of smart phones and mobile applications is on
the rise. Thirty-seven percent of SMB owners surveyed have used a smartphone or a
PDA in the past year -- a 10 percentage point increase over the previous year1. Another
survey conducted in 2010 by market research firm Techaisle found that one-fifth of
the small businesses in the U.S., U.K., Brazil and Germany surveyed used iPads.2

The new eVoice Mobile App helps solve the problem of dropped calls in environments
notorious for poor connectivity, such as a subway, train, basement office or a rural
home office. Many of these locations often have good WiFi connections even when 3G/4G
networks are unavailable. Utilizing the eVoice mobile application with a WiFi connection
in these environments can help enable users enjoy clear, reliable communications in
areas with limited cellular coverage.

New Intercom Feature Saves Money and Minutes

The new eVoice Mobile App's new Intercom feature provides a simple way for eVoice
customers to instantly communicate with their most important contacts. By assigning
extensions to employees, business contacts, or even family members -- eVoice users
can communicate with these contacts without using any of their eVoice or mobile carrier
minutes.

Key benefits of the eVoice app's new VoIP features allow users to:

Reduce cell phone minute usage (and bills) when making and receiving calls over a
data connection using WiFi or a 3G/4G network

Answer every call appropriately with the ability to see caller ID and the extensions
dialed on your incoming calls

Easily connect with important contacts with eVoice's unique Intercom feature

Choose the way calls are placed or received with an easy "on" "off" VoIP calling feature

The eVoice Mobile App is free to download and use immediately. With a six-month free
trial offer, eVoice makes it easier than ever for individuals, entrepreneurs and small
businesses to be more professional, efficient and mobile.

announces the launch of Rebtel 2.0, a new generation of intelligent applications designed
for desktop and smartphones, which facilitates platform independent free high-quality
calls. The free iPhone application, available today from iTunes, allows users to make
and receive free international calls using WiFi/3G as well as local minutes. Texts
and calls can also be done to any non-Rebtel users on any phone for rates up to 90%
cheaper than the standard international calling rate of an average carrier. The app
also introduces a new proprietary Rebtel technology called KeepTalking, which by the
push of a button allows users to seamlessly transition mid-call from WiFi/3G to local
minutes. The iPhone and desktop applications will add to the Rebtel free call network
already including Android and Blackberry applications and facilitate free calls between
all existing platforms.

The market for voice is still twice that of all TV operators and three times more
than all internet related revenues. Voice calls generated $628 billion of carrier
operator revenues last year, meaning that two thirds of total revenues and half of
total profits still come from voice calls. Mobile messaging generated 19% of total
mobile operator revenues 45% of total profits. That means that voice and messaging
produced 86% of all mobile operator revenues and 95% of their profits. The mobile
VoIP market is expected to reach $36 billion in revenues by 2016 and by the end of
2011, there will be around 70 million mobile VoIP users according to a study from
Visiongain 2011.

Rebtel 2.0 offers the following features and benefits:

KeepTalking

For situations when the WiFi/3G connection is not good enough to sustain a call, Rebtel
introduces KeepTalking, allowing users to simply press a button on the iPhone call
screen during a WiFi/3G call to seamlessly improve the connection from data to local
numbers and still be able to make a Free International Call using Rebtel’s applications
and local numbers in 53 countries. The new innovation KeepTalking aims to increase
voice quality, reduce phone bills and greatly reduce dropped calls. With the new applications
it is now possible to keep calling internationally for free even when you transfer
from data to a regular mobile call.

Platform Independent Free Calls Between Rebtel App Users

Calls to friends who are running any Rebtel application on a smartphone or PC can
be made for free over WiFi/3G as well as using local minutes. These contacts are labeled
“Free” in the in-app contact list to make it simple to see who’s already using Rebtel,
and who you should invite. Whenever a friend or business acquaintance in a users’
contact list downloads Rebtel 2.0, a PUSH message is sent as a notification. Rebtel
also offers SMS to any mobile phone number, with an average cost savings of approximately
60% over U.S. carriers.

Contact Integration

Rebtel 2.0 works with each user’s own contact list wherever it might live. The company’s
mobile offerings integrate with the phone’s native address book, while the PC app
allows you to connect with third-party services such as Google Contacts and Facebook.

Easy Set-up

With the new Rebtel applications, the sign up process is reduced to one single step
where the user simply connects their phone to the Rebtel network. Immediately after
signup, the user can see which friends in their contact list they can call for free.

Digium Introduces Switchvox Mobile Application for Android Phones and Tablets

Digium has
extended the value of its Switchvox Unified Communications solution for small to mid-sized
businesses by adding free support for Android devices. The Switchvox Mobile application
now integrates Digium's Switchvox SMB communications solution with Android as well
as iPhone and BlackBerry devices at no extra cost to customers. With the Switchvox
Mobile app, Switchvox SMB customers can:

make, receive, transfer and record calls as if they were calling from the office extension

check their call history

view and change call rules, such as routing and forwarding

change their out-of-office greeting

access the company directory and return calls via email

use the Switchvox app from their Android-based tablet to perform tasks such as returning
voice messages using email.

Switchvox's mobility with fixed mobile convergence capabilities allow users to select
up to five phones of any type, including smartphone, VoIP, digital, analog or soft
phone, to converge with their Switchvox extension. These converged phones can easily
transfer a call to any phone or number over a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Customers
can also fully integrate these converged phones with their interactive user interface,
the Switchvox Switchboard. Click here to see an interactive demonstration of the Switchvox
Mobility features: www.digium.com/mobility.

Switchvox is based on Asterisk, the world's most widely adopted open source communications
engine. Because Asterisk is at its core, Switchvox can offer a feature set that rivals
those of the most expensive UC solutions, but at a price that small businesses can
afford. Digium, the UC solution leader, imposes no licensing charges for advanced
features, such as those that extend the power of the UC system to employees' mobile
devices through FMC support. This approach means that Switchvox customers pay 60 to
80 percent less than companies buying comparable VoIP business phone systems. In acknowledgement
of this fact, industry analyst firm Frost & Sullivan recognized Switchvox this year
with the Customer Value Enhancement Award for UC Solutions. To read the full report,

for iPhone with video calling on New Year's Eve 2010, we've seen growing demand for
a Skype app for the iPad.

The wait is over, as today we launched Skype for iPad now available for download in
the iTunes App Store.

Skype for iPad is beautifully designed and optimized for the iPad. It offers the best
of both worlds for users who want a larger Skype experience, on-the-go. The large
iPad screen is perfect for bringing Skype video calls to life, in either landscape
or portrait view, and because it is on the iPad, Skype video calls can be made at
the beach, in a car or even lying on a couch.

Not only does Skype for iPad feature an interface that takes advantage of the large
screen, but there are a number of additional iPad-optimized features found in this
new app, including:

Two-way video calling. With Skype video calling available on iPhones, as well as in
Skype for Android, Skype for Mac, Skype for Windows, Skype on HDTVs and more - you
can connect to over 170 million Skype connected users worldwide.

Instant messaging. You can even instant message during a video call on your iPad,
with emoticons to personalize your message.

Simple to view contacts. Contacts are now displayed in a grid on Skype for iPad, showing
large avatar photos - making it easy to find your contacts and conversations.

Easy navigation. Find your recent Skype conversations and history at the touch of
a button making searching simple.

Simple SMS texting. An SMS text message can be sent by simply opening a contact and
selecting SEND SMS or by opening the dial pad, typing in the number you wish to SMS
and then typing your message.

The new Skype for iPad app also takes full advantage of the iPad 2's dual cameras,
allowing users to talk face-to-face with the iPad's front camera or switch to the
rear camera to show what they can see. Skype for iPad also allows users to call landlines
and mobiles using Skype's great low rates - all a user needs is a little Skype Credit.
Skype for iPad works across both 3G and Wi-Fi networks and also allows users to make
voice and video calls across platforms from their iPad to other Skype users on iPhones,
Mac, Windows, HDTVs and more.

        Already
more than 25 million Apple iPads have been sold worldwide but no iPads are voice telephony
enabled when they come out of the box. This represents a huge new market segment for Coms,
as its services can be provided over the iPad’s inbuilt WiFi or GSM modem.

iPad subscribers can choose a new Coms telephone number from more than 250 area codes
in the UK, including principle telephone suffixes such as London or Birmingham. The
service includes free advanced telephone features such as voicemail, call forwarding,
voice to email and calling line identifier display, as well as low cost call plans
to all international locations.

The service will be marketed to all iPad users, but will be particularly relevant
to those who travel, as when they connect to a local WiFi network they will be able
to receive inbound calls without any high roaming fees, and outgoing calls will be
charged at their local call plan rates.

Richard Bennett, CEO, Coms plc commented: “This new service builds upon the iPhone
applications that we launched earlier in the year facilitating the development of
the cloud telephony market. It is my belief that fixed line telephony will steadily
migrate to cloud based telephony services which offer individuals and businesses increased
features and lower call costs.

“Users of this new service can save up to 90% against BT on international calls and
up to 77% on UK calls. In addition they get a new landline for free which travels
with them, saving £296 against BT.”

iPad users can voice enable their iPads by subscribing to the Coms telephony service
from the Coms website. Subscribers will need a softphone app which is downloaded from
the Apple store. Coms recommends the Bria app from Counterpath that has the Coms service
settings embedded into it, making it simple for subscribers to start making and receiving

Coms Launches VoIP telephony Service for iPad Users

Already
more than 25 million Apple iPads have been sold worldwide but no iPads are voice telephony
enabled when they come out of the box.

Coms recommends the Bria app from Counterpath that has the Coms service
settings embedded into it, making it simple for subscribers to start making and receiving
calls.

Coms is working on additional features that will enable customers to transfer their
existing BT numbers to the Coms service, as well as making the service compatible
with all leading operating systems including Android, OS and Symbian.

one in four enterprises already use tablets, and by 2013, so will the majority of
businesses, according to multiple analyst and vendor surveys of Chief Information
Officers and IT managers. As this installed base grows, so does the opportunity for
enterprises to leverage the tablet to minimize telephony costs while improving employee
productivity and responsiveness.

To enable enterprises and mobile workers to capitalize on this trend, CounterPath announced
the worldwide availability of Bria iPad Edition Version 1.0 via the Apple
iTunes App Store. This standards-based, service agnostic softphone provides an
intuitive user interface for making and receiving calls over a Wi-Fi or a 3G/4G mobile
connection, making it the first universal endpoint for iPad.

Bria iPad Edition 1.0 supports multiple VoIP accounts and SIP protocols, Bluetooth
headsets and native iOS multitasking. This enables business users and prosumers to
access multiple personal and business accounts while simultaneously utilizing other
applications or accessing documents on their iPad during a call.

Capable of working with any VoIP service provider, Bria iPad Edition supports hosted
VoIP and IP-PBXs, effectively turning the iPad into a mobile desktop phone. Bria includes
a list of pre-configured, CounterPath-approved ITSPs, making VoIP account set-up fast
and easy for users who either lack a VoIP provider or already use a CounterPath-approved
ITSP.

Unlike other VoIP voice applications marketed for the iPad that were introduced primarily
for the iPhone, Bria iPad Edition is designed specifically for all Apple iPads. This
iPad-centric foundation means that Bria iPad Edition leverages the device's large,
high-resolution display, providing a richer user experience that enhances the features
found in the Bria iPhone Edition.

Bria iPad Edition's separated navigation panes make it effortless to find contact
information and initiate calls. A one-touch popover dialpad is elegantly minimized
yet easily accessible at all times, while the iPad's native keyboard is also available
for entering alphanumeric SIP URL/addresses.

Other key features of Bria iPad Edition 1.0 include:

A customizable user interface specifically designed for the iPad. A visually engaging
double-pane design logically organizes application features and enables simple and
smooth transitions between tabs and sub-tabs. Includes options for custom background
images and custom colors.

Bluetooth connectivity. When the iPad is paired with a compatible Bluetooth headset,
the Bria client can be used to speak and listen providing the ability to be away from
the iPad up to the range of the headset.

iTunes Auto Pause. When a call is placed or received, the audio from the iPad's iPod
music application is automatically paused.

A wide variety of deskphone features, including call hold, transfer, conferencing,
display and history, as well as contacts and a voicemail indicator.

iOS4 multitasking, enabling access to other applications without interrupting calls.
Bria iPad Edition softphone runs in the background and can be returned to quickly
by a top-of-screen tap.

Advanced security and audio features. Secure call signaling and audio encryption plus
codec support for G.711, G.722 wideband audio for lifelike sound, GSM, iLBC and an
optional G.729 codec that is available for purchase within the app or through the
Apple Store.

According to Infonetics Research, the VoIP services market reached nearly $50 billion
in 2010. With more than 19 million iPads sold worldwide, Apple currently holds the
majority of the growing tablet market. "CounterPath's Bria iPad Edition meets the
needs of these rapidly converging markets, serving both the prosumer and enterprise
consumer segments," Carothers said.

Like Bria iPhone Edition, Bria iPad Edition 1.0 integrates seamlessly with other CounterPath
desktop and mobile VoIP solutions, as well as with enterprise and carrier infrastructure
equipment from major vendors. CounterPath also develops customized white-label versions
of Bria iPad Edition for carriers, OEMs and enterprise customers worldwide.

A version of Bria iPad Edition that includes support for video calls, SMS, Instant
Messaging and presence will be available later this year.

Bria iPad Edition is available immediately in theApple
iTunes App Store or via CounterPath's online store at www.counterpath.com/store.

announced results from its latest study based on U.S. immigrant and first-generation
consumer mobile usage and behavior. The results were based on 1,340 responses from
immigrants residing in the United States, which represent a consumer segment of approximately
38 million consumers. According to the survey 13% of respondents currently own a tablet
device, representing approximately five million Americans.

According to the survey, the iPad reigns supreme as the preferred tablet device, with
two-thirds of tablet owners choosing the device. French Americans claim the highest
percentage of tablet owners (17%), followed by Mexican-Americans (15%), Nigerian-Americans,
and Ghana-Americans at 14% respectively rounded out by Ethiopian-Americans at 8% and
Cuban-Americans at 7%.

Among the different demographics, there were some wide disparities concerning whether
or not they would buy a tablet in the near future. Ghanese (62%) and Indian Americans
(58%) topped the list among immigrant populations looking to buy a tablet device,
while Ethiopian (31%) and French Americans (34%) ranked last.

In terms of brand preference broken down by ethnicity of users, Apple’s iPad has a
particularly strong foothold among Cuban-Americans, Indian-Americans and Nigerian-Americans,
which account for the highest affinity marked by 83%, 80%, and 75% respectively.

Concerning the highest percentage of respondents who said that they would most likely
buy an iPad in the near future, a whopping 87% of Kenyans claimed they would do so,
with French immigrants coming in second at 81%. The Kindle was a popular second choice
as a tablet device, with 9% of the overall population saying they are most likely
to buy it, with Ethiopian immigrants leading the way at 24%.

Out of the immigrants in the study hailing from Cuba, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, India,
Israel, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines and UK currently residing in the US, all
segments ranked the iPad as their tablet of choice.

Individual ethnic group responses:

“Apple has remained the brand of choice for the immigrant and first generation U.S.
market,” said Andreas Bernstrom, CEO of Rebtel. “We’re witnessing a massive shift
in technology brand affinity over the past decade as Sony has been dethroned, and
Apple has grabbed the reigns and held tight starting with the iPod moving forward.”

There are 37.9 million immigrants (both legal and illegal) in the U.S. 10.8 million
of those are illegal. The percentage of native-born people in the U.S. has fallen
for four straight decades, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. In 2008, 12.5% of
the population was born outside the U.S., nearing the all-time highs of nearly 15%
in the late 1800s.

The study was conducted in November 2010 with a sample group of respondents comprised
of Rebtel users divided into 11 different ethnic groups; Cuba, Ethiopia, France, Ghana,
India, Israel, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines and UK. Each ethnic group received
their own identical survey and all the respondents are currently located in the US.

Paltalk announces
the release of its Vumber Mobile application. Vumber allows iOS device users to place
calls through Wi-Fi and add multiple lines to their cell phone, enabling them to separate
business calls from personal calls, etc. from a single device.

Vumber App users can place calls over WiFi from their iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad,
to anywhere in the world, for only $9.95 per month through Vumber. Customers are still
required to maintain a carrier plan, but they can limit the amount of minutes on their
plan to save money. The app is available for free from the iTunes
store and an app for android phones and tablets will be available by the end of
the first quarter.

Major features of the Vumber Mobile app include:

Turn your iPod into a phone -- Sign up for a free 30 day trial and use your iPod as
a phone from any Wi-Fi connection, from any location in the world.

Multiple Lines -- With Vumber you can add as many numbers as you would like to your
account. Once you've done this -- it's as simple as pressing the phone icon to choose
which number people see when you call them.

Easy access to voicemail -- Simply dial 1# from the app for instant access to your
voice messages.

Wi-Fi & 3G calling -- Stop worrying about bad reception and don't waste your cell
plan minutes by dialing with your Vumber.

Visual Speed Dial -- View speed dial contacts in an easy-to-use grid. Add a picture
to each one for a quick and intuitive interface.

Vumber is a virtual, disposable
phone number service that lets subscribers choose an additional phone number that
can be linked to any existing phone. This allows customers to make calls while maintaining
the privacy of their phone numbers. Vumber is often used by small businesses that
need to have separate lines for business and personal calls, but rather than having
two cell phones can now have multiple numbers on a single device. Paltalk acquired
the company in November 2009.

The Vumber Mobile app will continue to add functionality designed to provide users
with a complete mobile communications experience via WiFi networks. The next update
will feature SMS functionality, enabling users to text one person or groups of people
at a time from any of the virtual numbers stored in their app. Users will also be
able to update social network channels like Twitter through the app via SMS.
CounterPath announces
the worldwide availability of Bria
iPhone Edition Version 1.1 for Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Compatible
with Apple's new iOS 4 operating system, Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 is a highly secure,
standards-based VoIP softphone that works over both 3G and Wi-Fi networks.

Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 leverages iOS 4 to deliver to Bria users' their most requested
feature: multitasking on the iPhone, freeing them to stay productive while waiting
for calls. This freedom is particularly valuable for iPhone users that need to reference
other applications while on a call, enhancing the device's value as a business tool.
When Apple releases iOS 4 for the iPad, Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 will immediately and
automatically extend its multitasking features to that device.

Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 also features support for up to eight accounts, so users can
create a separate account - including a separate number - for each aspect of their
life, such as work home or on the move. Bria users now simply log in once to stay
connected to all of their accounts throughout their day. Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 also
lets users create a separate dialing plan for each account to ensure that each call
is placed correctly.

Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 also fully supports older devices running iPhone 3.0 and is
ideal for the growing number of SMEs, large enterprises and governments that are deploying
iPhones, the iPod touch and iPads for mobile workers, many of whom require full access
to their communications services while away from their desk or office. Bria iPhone
Edition leverages the iPhone's native address book and its embedded Bluetooth technology
to provide a seamless calling experience while on the move.

Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 integrates seamlessly with other CounterPath desktop and convergence
solutions, as well as with enterprise and carrier infrastructure equipment from major
vendors such as Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, BroadSoft, Metaswitch, Avaya, Cisco and
NEC. Bria iPhone Edition also supports Asterisk-based telephony systems.

Bria iPhone Edition 1.1's other key features include:

Full SIP compliance, enabling use with any SIP-compliant server and hundreds of ITSPs
that currently offer CounterPath-based services.

Bria iPhone Edition appears as another endpoint to service providers or PBX equipment,
enabling fast, cost-effective deployments.

Call quality that's superior to circuit-switched wireline and wireless voice, and
based on the G.711, G.729 and GSM codecs.

An intuitive user interface that provides one-touch access to voicemail, call history,
speakerphone and other frequently used telephony features such as 4-digit dialing.

Support for DTMF, which lets users enter numbers to access an auto attendant.

Bluetooth support, enabling hands-free calling for convenience, as well as safety
while driving (iPhone and iPod touch only).

Multi-call management options, including the ability to switch between, merge and
split calls, all in ways that are already familiar to iPhone users so they can start
using these features immediately.

Signaling and call encryption via TLS and SRTP, enabling enterprise- class security.

Optional customized branding available for enterprises and telephony providers.

Bria iPhone Edition is the latest CounterPath solution for mobile platforms and its
first standalone mobile SIP application. Earlier this year, CounterPath launched Linux,
Mac and Windows versions of Bria, all of which received strong approval and endorsement
from Internet telephony service providers and telecom infrastructure vendors. In addition
to the Bria-branded version, CounterPath will also be developing customized white-label
versions of Bria iPhone Edition for carriers, OEMs and enterprise customers worldwide
through its professional services team.

Current Bria iPhone Edition users will be automatically updated to Version 1.1 when
the update is available. Bria iPhone Edition 1.1 is sold exclusively through the following
link on the iTunes
Store for $7.99. Customers have the ability to upgrade the client to include G.729
support.

        CounterPath announces
the worldwide availability of Bria iPhone Edition for Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod
Touch. Bria iPhone Edition is a highly secure, standards-based VoIP softphone that
works over both 3G and Wi-Fi networks.

Bria iPhone Edition integrates seamlessly with other CounterPath desktop and convergence
solutions, as well as with enterprise and carrier infrastructure equipment from major
vendors such as Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, BroadSoft, Metaswitch, Avaya, Cisco and
NEC. Bria iPhone Edition also supports Asterisk-based telephony systems.

One hundred percent compatible with Apple's iPhone 3.0 and new iOS (formerly iPhone
4.0), the CounterPath softphone client takes advantage of the growing number of SMEs,
large enterprises and governments that are deploying iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads
for mobile workers, many of whom require full access to their communications services
while away from their desk or office. Bria iPhone Edition leverages the iPhone's native
address book and its embedded Bluetooth technology to provide a seamless calling experience

Bria iPhone Edition leverages the iPhone's native
address book and its embedded Bluetooth technology to provide a seamless calling experience
while on the move.

        Apple previewed
its iPhone OS 4 software and released a beta version of the software to iPhone Developer
Program members. The iPhone OS 4 beta release includes an updated Software Development
Kit with over 1,500 new Application Programming Interfaces and over 100 new features
that will be available to iPhone and iPod touch users this summer. New features include
Multitasking for third party apps; Folders to better organize and access apps; improved
Mail with a unified inbox, fast inbox switching and threaded messages; enhanced Enterprise
support with even better data protection, mobile device management, wireless app distribution
and more; Apple's new iAd mobile advertising platform; and iBooks, the delightful
new ebook reader and online bookstore recently debuted on the iPad.

"iPhone OS 4 is the fourth major release of the world's most advanced mobile operating
system," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We're delivering over 100 new features, including
multitasking, folders, a unified inbox, deeper Enterprise support, and an iPhone version
of our iBooks reader and online iBookstore."

iPhone OS 4's new multitasking offers users a new way to quickly move between apps,
and provides developers seven new multitasking services to easily add multitasking
features to their apps. These services include background audio, so apps like Pandora
can play music in the background, and VoIP, so VoIP apps can receive a VoIP call even
when the iPhone is asleep or the user is running other apps. iPhone OS 4 provides
multitasking to third party apps while preserving battery life and foreground app
performance, which has until now proved elusive on mobile devices.

Folders help users better organize and quickly access their apps. Simply drag one
app icon onto another, and a new folder is automatically created. The folder is automatically
given a name based on the App Store category of that app, such as "Games," which the
user can easily rename. Using folders, users can now organize and access over 2,000
apps on their iPhone. Users can also create and manage iPhone folders on their Mac®
or PC using iTunes® 9.2.

iPhone OS 4 delivers the best mail experience on a mobile phone with its new Unified
Inbox, allowing users to see messages from all their email accounts displayed together
in a single inbox. With just a few taps, users can quickly switch between inboxes
to see messages from any single account. In addition, users can now thread their messages
by conversation, making it easier to stay on top of email discussions, as well as
open email attachments with compatible apps from the App Store.

iAd, Apple's new mobile advertising platform, combines the emotion of TV ads with
the interactivity of web ads. Today, when users click on mobile ads they are almost
always taken out of their app to a web browser, which loads the advertiser's webpage.
Users must then navigate back to their app, and it is often difficult or impossible
to return to exactly where they left. iAd solves this problem by displaying full-screen
video and interactive ad content without ever leaving the app, and letting users return
to their app anytime they choose. iPhone OS 4 lets developers easily embed iAd opportunities
within their apps, and the ads are dynamically and wirelessly delivered to the device.
Apple will sell and serve the ads, and developers will receive an industry-standard
60 percent of iAd revenue.

The iPhone OS 4 beta release includes a developer preview of Game Center, which contains
a set of APIs that allows developers to create apps with the ability to invite friends
to play a game, start a multiplayer game through matchmaking and track achievements
and compare high scores on a leader board. Apps created with GameKit APIs will work
with Game Center, Apple's new social gaming network available to iPhone and iPod touch
users later this year.

New enterprise features in iPhone OS 4 include improvements in security, scalability
and compatibility. The new Mobile Device Management service can be integrated with
third party servers to wirelessly configure, query and even wipe or lock managed iPhones,
and iPhone OS 4 enables enterprises to securely host and wirelessly distribute their
own in-house developed apps to employees. The new Data Protection feature uses a user's
passcode as an encryption key to protect mail messages and attachments stored on the
iPhone. iPhone OS 4 now provides the option to set a longer, more complex passcode,
making iPhone and its data even more secure. iPhone OS 4 allows IT managers to set
up multiple Exchange ActiveSync accounts, is compatible with Exchange Server 2010
and includes support for forthcoming SSL VPN applications from Juniper Networks and
Cisco.

Today, more than four billion apps have been downloaded from the revolutionary App
Store and more than 185,000 apps are available to consumers in 90 countries. Over
85 million iPhone and iPod touch users around the world can choose from an incredible
range of apps in 20 categories, including games, business, news, sports, health, reference
and travel.

Availability

The iPhone OS 4 beta software and SDK are available immediately for iPhone Developer
Program members at developer.apple.com. iPhone OS 4 will be available as a software
update to iPhone and iPod touch users this summer.* A version of iPhone OS 4 will
be coming to iPad this Fall.

*Some features may not be available on all products. For example, Multitasking requires
iPhone 3GS or third generation iPod touch (late 2009 models with 32GB or 64GB).
