TMCnet Recognizes Virtual PBX with 2010 Next Generation Network Leadership Award

virtualPBX_logo.gifVirtual PBX announces that Technology Marketing Corporation, has named Virtual PBX’s Open VoIP Peering as a recipient of the 2010 NGN Leadership Award presented by its publication NGN Magazine.

Virtual PBX’s Open VoIP Peering is an open systems approach to the next generation of VoIP-based PBX services. Open VoIP Peering allows small and growing businesses to take advantage of the robustness and features of traditional hosted PBX services while leveraging the cost-effectiveness of VoIP technology. Users can choose which option they like on a call-by-call basis to meet their individual needs. Furthermore, there is no additional cost from Virtual PBX for accessing soft phones, as is common with competitors who charge extra for proprietary digital-enabled phone extensions.

The second-annual NGN Leadership Award has recognized the growth, evolution and distinction between the applications and services designed for next-generation networks and the enabling technologies that make them possible. Virtual PBX was recognized in the Services category.

The 2010 NGN Leadership Award winners can be found in the May/June 2010 issue of NGN Magazine.
