VoSKY PBX-to-Skype Application Gateways Extend Skype to China SMB Market

vosky_logo.gifVoSKY announces a major global expansion of its VoSKY Exchange VoIP application gateway business through an agreement with Digital China. VoSKY Exchange is the first Skype solution for business to be sold through the Digital China network, reflecting growing market interest in the gateway's ability to add enhanced VoIP-based business applications and Skype trunks to any traditional or IP-based office phone system.

Effective immediately, Digital China's 6,000 VARs have access to the full VoSKY Exchange product line, including seven four-port and eight-port editions that seamlessly connect to any PBX with no modifications to existing PBX equipment, desk phones or user PCs. This will enable resellers to offer low-cost, easily deployable, value-added VoIP solutions to the 8.3 million small and medium businesses in China.

With VoSKY Exchange, VARs can equip business customers with free Skype calling between company offices in different cities and/or countries, free PC-based inbound calls to the PBX from remote or mobile users, free Web Click-to-Call connectivity from business websites, and low-cost long distance and international calls from the PBX to outside phones. Free interoffice communication is possible even with disparate PBXs, using Exchange application gateways to create a private voice network.

All VoSKY Exchange applications enable users to make or receive free or low-cost Internet-based Skype calls using standard desk phones without PCs or headsets. The VoSKY platform also centralizes Skype provisioning and management, eliminating the need to install Skype on each desktop.

VoSKY Exchange is the only enterprise-grade PBX-to-Skype application gateway that has earned Skype certification, ensuring seamless interoperability with Skype features and services. It is also the only product in its class that has been co-branded by Skype.
